WEST TO EAST Hike Across the Wilderness Conservation Area

Another vigorous hike: WEST to EAST through hilly, challenging terrain. 7-8 miles across the Wilderness Conservation Area from upper Pine Street, Manchester to Red Rocks Reservation, Gloucester. The pace will be steady. For hardy, experienced hikers only. Mike McDonagh and David Kahle. Return transportation to upper Pine St. will be provided. Wear sturdy, waterproof footwear and bring water (and a snack if you want.)

Spring Wildflower Walk

John Dick, wetland scientist, educator and forest ecologist will lead this walk to look for beautiful spring wildflowers in the Wilderness Conservation Area. Meet at the trailhead, on Upper Pine Street/ Pipeline Road - north of Route 128 at Exit 16. Google Maps does not pinpoint this location. Rain Date June 4.
